Mother

How can it be that a mother who loves her son can at times wonder how? The mother who has tried to do her best for her son all her life, but between them lies an invisible bomb that explodes creating harsh words, insults and pain. The son believes everything to be his mothers fault, whilst the mothers feels she has done her best with what circumstances she had to bring her son up alone. The sons words beat like a stick and wound the very heart of the mother. This is her son that now a man stands before her, disrespectful, but believing he is right..........The mother suffers a chronic illness and tries to live everyday normally but at times the pain, eats away at her ,and she becomes oversensitive and tired. She weeps at the conflict, but the finger of blame continues to be pointed at her. Maybe she guilty of oversensitivity? and maybe the son is guilty of believing that he is the one who suffered as a child and now, is he really always right or does he just think he is. He has always been the accuser and the one who makes the mother weep. But maybe the mother is guilty of having loved too much and trying to hard to please. Love is a fragile thing and familys cannot always be perfect. The mother who brings up her children alone, those children cannot know the difficulties until they too become parents.

Winds of Change

The summer winds warm us, they bring a feeling of wellbeing, but as the summer fades and the flowers drop their petals, they are carried away by the changing wind, carried to far away places, carrying untold secrets, and bringing to far off lands hope and opportunity. I welcome this time to pass off my thoughts unto another land, hoping that like a small mirror these wishes bring joy to others, as others silent thought have done to me. We are in motion, giving and accepting, hoping and forgiving. So as summer fades fill the wind love and hope to be carried to others far away, and be at peace
